How do I know when new documents are added to the vLex database?

The best way to be in formed about new information that is relevant to you is with vLex alerts. With this service you will receive an e-mail everytime a document that may be of interest to you is added to the vLex database.

How to create an alert?

You have two options: Choose from the results webpage of every performed search or from the alerts webpage.

From the results webpage

In all the searches that you make in vLex, you will find in the results webpage a box that indicates you are able to create and alert. This alert will warn you whenever a new document that is added to vLex fulfills this search criteria.

In this case, you will be warned of all the new documents that fulfill the exact conditions that you have indicted when making this recent search. Therefore, the less specific you are when making the search, for instance a single word in the field text, the more new documents you will receive as matching criteria in this alert. On the contrary, if your search is very specific, its possible that you will rarely receive notice of new documents added to the database.

There are various options that you can configure to adapt the alerts to fit your specific needs.
