Working the Search Results

Once a search is completed and you have found the documents needed, vLex can offer you different possibilities to work with them. Learn more about letting the tools do the work, so you don't have to.

At vLex, the contents are in full text so you don't have to go to another source to read a desired document.

Print

You can print all the documents. Printable versions gaurentee the minimum consumption of print supplies because leaves out all the website graphics.

This printable version, as well as the webpage, gaurantees that the printed document will not be cut. The width of each line will adapt to the format or paper size chosen in your printer.

E-mail this

Tools that send information you find important is very useful. With the 'E-mail this' function, you can send the interested document to as many people as you want. Spread the word, and help a fellow co-worker who may be well served by your findings.

Your colleagues will receive document's URL so they can read it with inly one simple click. They will also receive any commentary that you may have added.

Download this

You can download a copy of all documents. In most cases the copy is in RTF format, allowing you to open the file in any word processing program.

You will also be able to download a PDF version when you find it important to see the original format. This may be especially important in the case of Journals or Official Journals.

In the section for Contracts & Forms, all the documents are in RTF format so you can easily fill in the appropriate fields or make adaptions.

Add document to favorites

In the 'Tags' section you are able to store documents that are important to you. Its very easy, just use the 'tag this' option that is available in all vLex documents.

When adding a document to your favorites, you will be able to add as many tags as you'd like. Also, each tag can be labeled with any word you choose. Being the decider on which tags or labels to use keeps you from having to adapt someone elses ideas of organization. We will only suggest past choices you've made as labels as a help.

You can add a personal commentary to all documents and if you want you can share this commentary with other users.

Copy & Paste

The text of a document is also displayed in HTML. If you want to copy a fragment of the text, you only need to copy and paste.
