Community Resource Services (CRS) was organized in 1971 in Michigan. Community Resource Services is a non-profit tax exempt corporation operating under section 501-(c)-(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Maine office, established in 1976, operated as an extension of the Michigan office until 1981, when all operations were centralized in Maine. Operations were moved permanently to Maryland in 1995. Since incorporation in 1971, CRS has delivered services to a diverse group of clients at the local, regional, state, and national levels.
