You might be interested to know that the EEOC recently brought a federal action on behalf of a gay employee against [UHG]. EEOC-sponsored litigation happens in a very small percentage of cases filed with the agency. In that case, as part of a public settlement, UHG was required to enter into a consent decree promising to eliminate discrimination against LGBTs.
