EFFECTIVE DATE OF 1997 AMENDMENTS

Section 604(b) of Pub. L. 105-78 and section 1(b) of Pub. L. 105-136 provided that: "The amendment made by subsection (a) [amending this section] shall take effect October 1, 1997."

EFFECTIVE DATE OF 1988 AMENDMENT
