This amended filing corrects inadvertent errors to the cost of service underlying its proposed rate for service pursuant to its Order No. 63 blanket certification issued on December 1, 1998, in Docket No. CP98- 70-000. The correction yields a reduction of $0.0443 per Dekatherm of demand from the rate that went into effect on March 1, 1999. Union Light proposes an effective date of May 7, 1999, for the revised rate. Union Light proposes to refund the over collections for the period March 1, 1999 through may 6, 1999, through an adjustment to the next monthly invoice submitted to the affected customers.Any person desiring to participate in this rate proceeding must file a motion to intervene or protect with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such motions or protests must be filed with the Secretary of the Commission on or before May 20, 1999. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make Protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to the intervene. Copies of this application are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection.
