Entered into rest on Sunday, January 11, 2004, Mr. Jack W. K. McDowell, formerly of Bath. Two brothers, Irvin McDowell and Bob McDowell and two sisters, Willie Mae McDowell Baker Burton and Lucille McDowell, preceded him in death.

Surviving are two nephews, Everett Baker of Bath and Kem McDowell of Charlotte, N.C.; and three nieces, Doris B. Clark and Bonnie B. Lanier, both of Bath and Mary M. Dees of North Augusta.
