BAGHDAD, IRAQ - The United States will transfer legal custody of Saddam Hussein to the new Iraqi government perhaps as early as next weekend, Prime Minister Iyad Allawi said Sunday. The ousted Iraqi leader, however, will remain in the hands of U.S. troops, U.S. officials say.The World
