Mrs. Susie Kennedy Maxwell, 93, of Beaverdam Rd., died Monday at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Maxwell was a native of Wilkes County and had lived there all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sally Evans Kennedy, and was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Maxwell, and two sons, James Maxwell and Billy Gene Maxwell, Sr. She was a housewife and a member of the Beaverdam Baptist Church.
