BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Three Brunswick men have been sentenced to consecutive life prison terms for a brutal attack on an Atlanta man and his wife at the couple's vacation home on Sea Island.

The home invasion panicked many residents of the wealthy enclave, where such violent crimes are infrequent. After the attack, the island became a gated community with limited access. The Sea Island Co., which has its own security force, negotiated a deal with Glynn County to take over the island's roads and infrastructure.
