Consider The Omen an omen.

There's little doubt, despite middling reviews and source material that wasn't that remarkable to begin with, that the recent remake of the 1976 daddy's-little-devil flick will do big box office. Its only real competition is the far more family-friendly Cars, and with a modest-by-Hollywood-standards budget of around $60 million, it won't take much to put the production in the black.
