"I wanted to express the importance of a budget and managing money right in order for young people to reach their goals," said [Kurt Thomas]. "I want them to know that it starts right now, before they get a job and out of school."

"I hope they realize that we once were in their position at one point of our lives," said [Keith Henry]. "We have the same background and are from the same neighborhoods, and hopefully that gives them the inspiration to do the same."

"I learned that you must be yourself always," said Aunen. "No matter what tries to stop you, just keep learning in life," she added.
