A: You can sponsor your fiance on a K-visa and bring him to the U.S., according to the U.S. immigration law. The U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services says a U.S. citizen who plans to marry their foreign-born and -based fiancé in the United States can file a petition with the USCIS, and once that is approved, the fiancé will be issued a K-visa at a U.S. Embassy or consulate abroad.
To begin the visa process, you must file Form I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) and include evidence of your U.S. citizenship -your original U.S. birth certificate, your U.S. passport, your Certificate of Naturalization, or your Certificate of Citizenship, as well as a color photo of you and one of your fiancé taken within 30 days of filing and if appropriated, a copy of any divorce decrees, death certificates, or annulment decrees if either you or your fiancé had been previously married.
