A financial services director at the University of Missouri has been arrested on suspicion of stealing cash and checks from his department and depositing the money into his personal banking account.

Mark D. Oleson, director of the university's Office for Financial Success, was arrestedThursday on suspicion of two counts of stealing. Oleson is accused of stealing between $500 and $2,000 worth of cash and checks sometime in December, MU police Chief Jack Watring said.
