Flooding may occur at higher elevations in areas along Pigeon Creek upstream of its mouth at the Ohio River because run-off from Thursday's rainfall across the Pigeon Creek watershed, Vanderburgh County Surveyor Bill Jeffers is warning.

Jeffers' department often works with drainage issues involving the county's streams and ditches.
