Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. for the game that affords college coaches a chance to scout youngsters seeking scholarships on the Division II and III levels of play. The game was the brainchild of Bob Williams, the former All-City star from Roosevelt High School and the former captain of the NYU Violets back in the '60s.

New York City's oldest contining post-season basketball game, "The City Game," founded by the Sports Foundation Inc. 39 years ago, will be held Saturday, March 14 at John Jay College (59th Street & 10th Avenue).
