Gerding/Edlen Development Co. of Portland and ScanlanKemperBard have acquired property two blocks from Bellevue Square and Bellevue Downtown Park, where they'll develop Bellevue Towers, a two-tower, 42-story mixed-use condominium project in downtown Bellevue, Wash.

Lennar Communities, a Miami building company, partnered with the firms to buy and develop the property, located at 106th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Fourth Street. Portland architecture firms GBD Architects and Mulvanny G2 Architecture have been recruited to design the two towers.
