Abstrdact

At present the massive treatment of data given the accelerated development of Informa-

tion and Communication Technologies has given rise to a new concept or paradigm in in-

formation management: Big Data. We often talk about Big Data and its close relationship

with Open Data, recognizing the key role of society as the lead consultant. e government,

which has the resources to collect large amounts of data, is seen as the main provider of

information. e aim of this exhibition is to draw attention to the interaction between e-

government and large data in relation to open data and legal challenges. is innovative

tool, which serves to make useful predictions reliable, must be assimilated as an objective to

be reached in the degree of maturity of the technological ecosystem and especially in the im-

plementation of e-government policies. e Public Administration contains and provides a

wealth of information of interest to society, within which public information has a specic

value. e transparency of information, its study and analysis made available to citizens

and the government itself will serve institutions as a tool to improve decision making and

the adoption of dierent measures that will be transformed into benets for society.
