DAYTON -- Central Michigan's Chippewas gave a sluggish University of Dayton team all it could handle for 30 minutes Wednesday night, but the Flyers finally solved the CMU defense and broke away for a 61-36 victory in front of 12,018 at UD Arena.
More than any other Flyer, it was Jimmy Binnie who provided the spark. The Flyers had been getting beaten to the loose balls and rebounds until Binnie came in and stirred things up.
