The county school board is considering a parking permit policy for high school seniors that could force some students to take the bus.
Because of limited parking at all 12 county high schools, the policy would give priority to students who need to drive to school- supervised work programs or local college-level educational programs, said Arlen Liverman, director of high schools, who helped to draft the policy.
