"We definitely believed in ourselves," said [Mark Carradorini], who also plays center field and hits third. "We went from being in sixth place and not even having enough guys to play in a game -- we almost had to forfeit a game -- and now we're in the championship."

"I talked with him and he said, "Maybe, I shouldn't come home,'" [Andrew Sieracki] joked after Tuesday's win over Cedarbrook.

"I've just got to hit my spots," said Carradorini, who is going to Alvernia College, where he'll play baseball. "My off-speed (stuff) needs to be on. I hit my spots with my fastball, and that opens up for my off-speed. I build off the fastball."
