Sarah Elizabeth Bailey and Bradley Dale Sutphin were married in an outdoor ceremony, the evening of August 15, 2009, at the home of the bride's maternal grandparents, Ann and Bill Patteson, Narrows, Virginia. Reverend Allen Wilder, Wytheville, Virginia, conducted the double ring ceremony. The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her uncle, Bryan Patteson.

Sarah is the daughter of Jane Garrett, Narrows, Virginia and Timothy Bailey, Bluefield, Virginia; she is the stepdaughter of Thomas Garrett, Narrows, Virginia. Paternal grandparents are Lois and Arthur Bailey, Rich Creek Virginia.
