WASHINGTON - Alec Ross wants low-income Americans to have a roof over their head, adequate access to health care and education - and a broadband connection in their family room.
The Charleston native is spearheading an effort - audacious in both its simplicity and scope - to connect the 12 million Americans living in government-subsidized housing to the Internet.City Native Wants Internet Access for All
