The Colts know that they "can't sell the sizzle only the steak." Their bread and butter is the beef on the offensive line led by Ian McWilliams and 305-pound tackle Mike Gross. The Colts have one of the best offensive lines in football and have chewed up the opposition all season long.
The Warriors tried to fool the Colts by moving receiver J.J. Wilson to quarterback and installing the "Wildcat" offense. Wilson, who has great quickness and a fearlessness to make plays in the middle of the field as a receiver, was rendered totally ineffective by the swarming Colts defense. They scored two touchdowns, including an interception return by safely Matt Chelios to extend the lead to 30-0."We are disappointed but we will not allow one game to frustrate us," said Warriors All-American linebacker Ameer Dudley. "We have a lot talent and our goal is to just make the playoffs. Once we are in the playoffs anything can happen." The Colts, who are undefeated in conference play, have a courageous team that is worth rooting for.
