Academy School District 20 and its former special education teacher Emily Sherwood deny responsibility for the sexual assault of a mentally disabled student, but both are changed because of it.

Kalie McArthur and Robert Harris, then a freshman, were discovered by a coach in a stairwell at Rampart High School partially clothed and in a sexual position in September 2004. Harris had been assigned to look after Kalie in a peer-assistance program as a "field trainer."
