Chris Cox said his dad -- Glenn "Doug" Cox -- always was a daredevil. "We had a trampoline from as far back as when I could first walk," Chris said. "I can remember doing double flips, then he'd get on and do double flips, too. We'd always try to outdo each other.

"He had go-karts that he'd drive down the street. He had minibikes that were so fast. He loved cars, and last year even he had a '48 Ford coupe and a 'Vette with a license plate that said, 'Bet I Can.'
