As movie theaters go, the new Hollywood Theaters InterQuest Stadium 14 on InterQuest Parkway may not be a "Titanic," but it's a solid summer popcorn flick. Think maybe "50 First Dates."
The InterQuest Stadium 14, which opened at midnight Wednesday for screenings of "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," doesn't bring anything new to the Springs' movie scene, but it brings the Springs' movie scene a whole lot closer to folks in Monument, Palmer Lake and Black Forest. And, given that it's currently all by its lonesome in a future shopping and hotel complex near New Life Church, it's also a way to avoid the mall traffic all north-enders face at the Carmike Chapel Hills or the Cinemark 16 on Powers Boulevard.
