"Hopefully, people will watch the play and see that it is a real family," said Pittsburgh Playwrights Theater director Mark Clayton Southers. "What I like about it is that the actors come in and knock it out and move on to the next part. People will be in for a good evening of theater."

"Mark gave me the script and I watched the movie arid I fell in love with [Freeman Tequila]," [Leslie "Ezra" Smith] said. "He's very, very ambitious and he has grandiose ideas and doesn't know how to put them into fruition. I had to tap into the emotion of grabbing something and it keeps slipping away.

"Freeman sets himself up for sabotage," Smith said. "He's a brother who won't go that extra step and leave his comfort zone, which is a struggle."
