TROY -- Volunteers for Habitat for Humanity of Miami County likely will be pounding nails faster than ever this year to build four houses before the clock runs out for using county grant dollars.

DeWayne Smith, county Habitat president and interim director, said he's confident the houses -- originally planned for the village of Covington, but redirected to Troy -- will be done on time.
