"An Evening with Mark Twain" will be held Friday, Sept. 11, at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre to benefit the McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center.
Carhops at Sonic in Soddy-Daisy are raising money for Good Shepherd Ministry in Soddy-Daisy today. From 6 a.m. until midnight, all tips collected by Soddy's Sonic carhops will be donated to the ministry.The race benefits the Blueway, a 48-mile canoe and kayak trail that runs through downtown Chattanooga and the Tennessee River Gorge from Chickamauga Dam to Nickajack Dam.Join area bicyclists for a free public forum on the state of bicycling in Chattanooga on Monday at 6 p.m. at Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St., in Coolidge Park. Discussion topics will include updates on the formation of a state bicycle advocacy organization, local and regional enforcement and political issues.
