Summary:

Diodorus described the people of Moroe as being deep black in color. He then called the Ethiopians handsome and beautiful. Examine what was going on in the world at the time of Diodorus, and you will see there was a period of intellectual inquisitiveness. People were concerned with finding, and exploring new ways to visit unknown points in the world. Even China was trading with Africa (Ethiopia).
