MAN -- Modern Applications News: Would you explain Chevron's position in the metalworking fluids market? Channing Reeder: "From the mid-1980s, when Chevron acquired Gulf, the company has been quite large in metalworking. Chevron had a complete line and kept that line intact. Up to about two years ago, we were running coherent product lines: the old Gulf metalworking fluids that had their own nomenclature, and Chevron with their own system.
