"I was going to give him one more hitter," said [Dave Deola], the manager of the Northampton entry in the Lower Bucks American Legion League. "He had thrown a ton of pitches and I was going to let him have one more chance to get out of it."

"It's going to be exciting," said second baseman Keith Meyer, who went 3-for-3 with two runs scored on the evening. "We've had some good games with them this season and I would think we're going to have the same types of games against them this time around."

"I'm proud of the kids because they kept fighting back," Y-M manager Mike Decembrino said. "But the walks and the errors early on, and that really came back to haunt us again in the end."
