Homer L. Arthur MARIETTA, Ohio Homer Lawrence Larry Arthur, 65, of Marietta, Ohio, died Jan. 5, 2004. Gatens Funeral Home, Poca, is in charge of arrangements. Janet Louise Bearce Janet Louise Barker Bearce, 79, of Charleston, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, in Riverside Nursing Home after a long illness. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Blair of Charleston; sons, Gary Blair of South Charleston and David Carr of Huntington; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 6, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey Harless officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. James J. Bloxton RAVENSWOOD James J. Bloxton, 73, of Ravenswood, died Jan. 5, 2004, in Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. He was born Aug. 15, 1930, in Layland. He was retired from the Casting Department at Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp., Ravenswood, where he worked for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Ripley Tabernacle and the United Steelworkers Local Union 5668, Ravenswood. He loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Bernard and Dorothy Bloxton; first wife, Mary Tincher Bloxton; and brother, John Bernard J.B. Bloxton II. Survivors include his wife, Christine Bloxton of Ravenswood; sons, James L. Bloxton and his wife, Vicki of Given, and Danny Bloxton and his wife, Tina, of Ravenswood; grandsons, Heath and...
