She was born Sept. 18, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Harley and Nora Jane Jones Bias.

She was a former medical lab technician at Boone Memorial Hospital, CAMC and Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Madison United Methodist Church and the Myrtle Lyon Circle.

She is survived by her husband, Richard "Dickie;" two daughters, Terri Lynn (Harold) May of Chapmanville and Tia Lea (Dale) Kirby of Madison; two sons, Ricky Adkins of Madison and Tracy (Lacie) Atkins of Sutton; and four grandchildren, Amber Atkins, Haylea Donevant, Richard Atkins and Alexis Atkins.

Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Madison United Methodist Church, Madison, with Dr. Frank Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Handley Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of arrangements.
