The Rafael's series includes Where the Sidewalk Ends (December 1), The Man with the Golden Arm (December 2), and Carmen Jones and The Moon Is Blue (December 3). That's one noir, one serious drama about social issues, one musical and one comedy. Two-The Man with the Golden Arm and The Moon Is Blue-failed to get certification from the MPAA's Production Code. The series also features special guests. At the Sidewalk screening will be Susan Andrews, daughter of star Dana Andrews, and noir expert Eddie Muller. For the Golden Arm screening, Victoria Preminger ([Otto Preminger]'s daughter) and film critic David Thomson will attend.
