Newly released documents from a federal investigation raised additional questions Thursday about state Sen. Louis C. DeLuca's relationship with a Danbury garbage hauler accused of having mob ties.

In one portion of an FBI report of an interview with DeLuca, the senator was quoted as saying "he had no idea" why a ledger seized during the federal organized crime probe would include DeLuca's name and the number "25,000" written next to it.
