PETERSBURG -- The city's public schools have hit a second delay in developing a contingency plan that will go into effect if all schools are not fully accredited.
Petersburg City Public Schools spokesman Cliff Davis said that no vendors responded to the request for proposals that closed July 1. He added that Superintendent Dr. James M. Victory and the School Board will discuss the situation Wednesday at the regular School Board meeting.Petersburg Hits a Snag On Contingency Plan for Schools
Additionally, Davis said that there has been no communication from the Virginia Department of Education regarding the situation.
