WASHINGTON - With Mother's Day this weekend, Mary Jo Codey says the best present any mother could receive would be an assurance from Congress that lawmakers will support a bill to help women suffering from postpartum depression.

Codey, wife of acting Governor Codey, was on Capitol Hill in Washington on Thursday to voice support for the measure, which would provide research and services for women diagnosed with depression following the birth of a child.
