Since I don't have children I haven't attended a lot of graduations. Quite a few years ago I attended my niece Kea's graduations and really enjoyed them.

The third and most important story was about not aiming low. It's always easy to tell someone not to bump their head once you've bumped yours too many times. But if I left that ballroom and didn't tell them not to aim low I wouldn't have done my job.

I asked them to be open to change, learn how to reinvent themselves when the need arises and don't live someone else's dream. I asked them to listen to their hearts because it's the best career counselor there is.
