Geathers' father, Jumpy, was a pass-rush specialist who played 13 years with the Saints, Redskins, Falcons and Broncos. [Jeremy Geathers]'s uncle, Robert Geathers, was drafted by the Bills but never played because of an injury. And his cousin, Robert Geathers Jr., is a defensive end with the Bengals. Though some scouts believe Jeremy would have been a 2009 first-round pick had he stayed in school, he could play a pass-rushing role as a rookie.
