OLD TOWN - Freshman Ashley Abbott scored seven of Old Town's eight overtime points as the Coyotes defeated Mount Desert Island 57- 52 in a Saturday girls basketball game.
The Coyotes outscored the Trojans 19-8 in the fourth quarter, but MDI's Jessica Swanson hit a shot just inside the three-point line at the top of the key at the buzzer to force overtime.Abbott Rallies Coyotes Old Town Edges Mdi in Overtime
Abbott totaled 20 points and seven rebounds to lead Old Town. Sarah Wilcox added 15 points and seven assists while Cortney Treadwell had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Megan Phelps scored 16 points to pace the Trojans.
