* Looks like we won't have any FestivALL concerts at Slack Plaza this year. With Danny's spikes on the walls there won't be a place for people to sit. Too bad.
* The West Virginia government is upside down. West Virginia is in deep debt but the governor and lawmakers are talking about pay raises instead of downsizing government, and the public is stupid to not demand recall rights, as in Pennsylvania, when lawmakers get the greedy fever.Readers' Voice
* I just saw where Shelley Moore Capito is considering running against Senator Rockefeller for the U.S. Senate. I hope she does. She doesn't have a chance of winning, and it will be the easiest way of getting her out of Washington and back to Charleston.
