The Little Red Schoolhouse started out as just that. The bright red clapboard building that now sits on Cudworth Road was built in 1893 as the town's first high school, graduating just six students in its first senior class.

But over the years, as it was moved from its original spot on First Parish Road and altered to include the modern conveniences of administrative offices, something was lost.
