PITTSBURGH - Brian Scalabrine knows how the situation looks, but he's not paying any attention to it. The Celtics forward was on the inactive list for all but one playoff game last season, and he dressed against the Lakers only because Kendrick Perkins was hurt for Game 5.

Scalabrine knows, too, that the Celts have some young players they'd like to develop, and he's wise to the fact the team isn't slotting him for a major role.
