EFFECTIVE DATE OF REPEAL
Pub. L. 104-208, div. A, title II, Sec. 2604(a), Sept. 30, 1996, 110 Stat. 3009-470, provided that: "Effective as of the end of the 5-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act [Sept. 30, 1996], section 271 of the Truth in Savings Act (12 U.S.C. 4310) is repealed."
