The spring signing period in men's college basketball begins today, and Seton Hall is hoping to land some immediate help for its frontcourt.

Jamal Nichols, a 6-foot-8, 240-pound power forward who played this past season at Globe Institute of Technology, a junior college in Manhattan, is scheduled to visit the Hall on April 22. The Pirates have an extra scholarship to give with the departure of seldom-used Damion Fray.
