BEAVERCREEK -- They were once basketball teammates and they are "teammates" again -- this time in Carroll High School's 2008 Athletic Hall of Fame.
Janet Emerson Hollenbeck and Colleen Edwards O'Rourke, a pair of outstanding athletes who helped pave the way for area women's sports, were recently reunited, along with four other '08 inductees, at the Walnut Grove Country Club.Teammates Reunited in Hall of Fame ; Former Basketball Players and Four Others Are Inducted at Carroll.
Others enshrined included legendary coach Ron Russo Sr. in the special contributor category, Nick Anello ('71), Terry Thill ('72), and John Fisher ('75).
