"Nov. 26 was a very sad and tragic day for India," said Nand Todi, temple president, referring to the starting date of three days of violence blamed on Muslim extremists with links to Pakistan. "It can compare to the terrorist attacks of 2001 in the USA, and you can call it the 9/11 of India."
"What happened in India was very sad, and we are in sorrow for those people who passed away," he said. "Whoever did this, they cannot be human beings, and we say to our Hindu brothers, all our brothers, we join in asking Allah to bring peace to the world.""We all feel the pain when this kind of terrorism happens," she said. "We feel the pain of loss. We feel the pain of the families whose loved ones have been taken away by terror. I think it's great we can get together as a community, no matter what faith we are. We're against terrorism, and we're for peace."Temple Hosts Service for Mumbai Victims; About 100 [Derived Headline]
