Nearly a third of people surveyed by Consumer Reports magazine say they are worse off financially then they were a year ago.
Among the biggest fears were not having enough money to retire (72 percent), safety of their bank accounts (55 percent), paying for college (68 percent) and the value of their homes (60 percent).The Crisis and Our Fears
